Green Chain Puller Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.23 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:30am to04:00pm )
- Pull and sort all lumber production on Green Chain, Sort Chain or Clear Chain.
- Make sure all lumber is pulled into its designated load; according to size, length, and grade. All units need stacked to the correct height and width.
- Make sure stickers are properly located.
- Make sure the resaw and trim is properly stacked into stable units. Trim unit will need to be banded.
- Work with other pullers as a team to ensure a safe and efficient production flow.
- Help ensure that all employees maintain a safe working environment and safe working habits.
- Know and utilize all lock-out/tag-out procedures associated with your job duties.
- When time allows, carry stickers, straighten loads, band units for forklift and clean up.
Green Chain Puller Qualifications:
- Green chain experience in lumber mill is required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
- Good attendance is a must!
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
