Painter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.50 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:30pm to02:00am )
The painter performs several activities, including washing, basic rigging, paint prepping, painting, general maintenance, and similar functions on parts, steel, aluminum, and equipment.
- Perform pre-treatment activities on parts in preparation for painting
- Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products
- Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications and/or requirements
- Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with laid out specifications
- Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces
Painter Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 year experience in the painting or industrial painting field required
- Working knowledge of paint equipment
- Mechanical or Maintenance aptitude helpful
- Must be able to read and interpret documents, such as policies, processes, instructions, formulas, etc.
- Must have mathematical and numeric knowledge/skills related to the measuring and estimating of weights, heights, calculating numbers, solving spatial problems
- Must have knowledge of materials and a strong understanding of pre-treatment procedures.
- Must be organized and have good communication
- Must have good dexterity
- Must be able to adapt to change and manage time wisely.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
