• This position is completed outside at a precast concrete facility and is regularly exposed to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and conditions vary widely depending on the weather and seasons.

Precast Production Finisher Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Responsibilities will include:
• Finishes concrete surfaces /expansions joints/edges using hand and powered floats, edgers, jointers, and saws • Repairs rough or defective areas in concrete surfaces, including application of cement, sand, or other treatments or compounds • Custom creates final finishes using a variety of artistic methods including acid wash, compounds, and cement • Cuts, chips, fills, and grouts on surfaces to prepare a finished product • Monitors and facilitates curing process based on weather conditions • Maintains finishing equipment; Keeps all tools and equipment clean and free of contaminants • Ensures a safe work environment and reports unsafe conditions to Foreman • Other duties as assigned
Precast Production Finisher Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Ability to understand, and follow written and oral instruction (English), and communicate effectively with crew, Foreman, and Management • Possess strong working knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position • Experienced with concrete tools and equipment related to the installation/finishing of concrete • Ability to work independently or as a team member, based on the task • Ability to work overtime, night, and weekends as required • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds • Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus • Commercial construction experience preferred
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
