Elwood Skill Staff (Construction & Trades Division of Elwood Staffing) is now hiring 20+ UT Certified Flaggers for various projects along the Wasatch Front paying up to $22.00+/hr depending on location.

UT Certified Flagger Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time and Part Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Direct traffic safely through construction zones with a paddle or flag
- Warn motorists to warm them of obstacles and repair work ahead
- Keep motorists and construction crew safe
- Will be working in the outdoor elements (extreme heat, cold and/or rain)
- Follow all safety precautions to protect motorists and construction workers.
- Coordinate traffic signals with construction crews and other flaggers.
UT Certified Flagger Qualifications:
- Must have current/valid Utah Flagging Certificate
- Must have reliable transportation to and from various worksites
- Must be willing to travel up to 50 miles, one way
- Must have ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand on cement for entire shift
- Must be able to work flexible schedules and stand for 8 to 12 hours throughout a shift
- Ability to bend at the waist, stoop, squat, and bend at the knees as required on a regular basis.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
