Sanitation Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
21.82 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 05:00am to10:00pm )
- Clean and sanitize dairy processing and packaging equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for sanitation.
- Use hoses, pressure washers, foamers, brushes, and other cleaning equipment.
- Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety requirements.
- Clean floors, walls, drains, production areas, and other facility surfaces.
- Safely handle and use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
- Verify equipment and work areas are properly cleaned before production begins.
- Complete sanitation records, checklists, and required documentation.
- Report equipment, safety, or sanitation issues to the supervisor.
- Follow GMP, PPE, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Sanitation Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, industrial cleaning, or food manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred.
- Ability to safely work with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and humid environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, including protective clothing, gloves, boots, and eye protection.
