Millwright Position Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance required; electrical, welding, machine shop, and plumbing work experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance work is required. 3 or 4 year Apprenticeship completed (with Journeyman Card) a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, blueprints, sketches and diagrams, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, work orders and correspondence. 
• Employee must be able to maneuver in tight places such as between equipment, climb ladders, step over obstacles, step on and off machinery, etc.
• The employee may be required to work in excess of 12 hours occasionally and/or weekend overtime. Employee will be required to work rotating shifts and the current schedule is 600AM-230PM, 200PM-1030PM, & 1000PM-630AM. 
• The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemical, smoke, dust, or potentially hazardous or volatile situations. The employee may be regularly exposed to noise in excess of 85 decibels.
• Occasional need for creative problem solving. Ability to learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation.
