General Purpose as a Business Development Manager:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving outside sales growth by identifying, prospecting, presenting, and closing new accounts that contribute positively to the financial performance of the branch or markets. The nature of the work performed in this position requires regular and routine face-to-face interaction with company personnel, applicants, and working associates within a company or client facility. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

What you will get to do as a Business Development Manager: 

In this role, you will prospect new leads and sell our staffing services to new and existing clients. We promote our services to all types of clients in many different industries, such as Manufacturing & Production, Warehouse & Distribution, as well as Automotive Manufacturers. Sales experience working with these industries is a big plus. The successful candidate will have outside sales experience, be self-motivated, driven, and strive to exceed goals and expectations.

  • Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new and unexplored prospects in targeted industries and functions.
  • Drive strategic customer dialogues to identify business objectives, staffing requirements, and challenges.
  • Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
  • Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts.
  • Liaise with the branch service team or on-site team to provide service delivery.
  • Manage account relationships by soliciting feedback and working with the branch team and/or On-Site team to ensure service delivery expectations are met and concerns are addressed.

What experience and skills translate for a Business Development Manager:

  • Outside sales or new account business development experience preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role to travel between the branch and prospect/client locations.
