General Responsibilities

You will work at one of our client facilities, and you will manage a group of temporary workers and maintain a strong relationship with the client company. If you have had any experience managing people, hiring, interviewing, providing constructive feedback, and problem solving, this opportunity is ideal for you. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Always highly visible and accessible to both client and temporary workers.
  • Interview and hire workers to fill production positions
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Assign daily tasks to production workers and monitor job performance
  • Work with client and Elwood safety teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements
  • Help develop retention and recognition programs
  • Ensure that the client's expectations are met
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Provide superior customer service in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Ability to speak Spanish and English required
  • Ability to read and write Spanish and English preferred but not mandatory
  • 2+ years of customer service, staffing, or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and have ability to quickly learn other essential technology required
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-priority, high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Able to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and written) to all levels, both internally and externally
