Quality Inspector Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Proven experience as a skilled sheet metal worker or similar fabrication role
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and production workflows
- Ability to operate a variety of sheet metal machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with strong measurement and accuracy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to support production goals
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining quality standards
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and components.
- Conduct detailed optical inspections of glass and LCD displays using magnification equipment. Inspect products for chips, scratches, contamination, cracks, and other cosmetic defects.
- Verify LCD functionality and identify defects including dead pixels, discoloration, contamination, and physical damage.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Document inspection findings and report non-conforming materials.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
