We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our client's manufacturing team in Athens, TX. Purchasing Agent Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Review purchase requests and specifications
- Request and track supplier quotes
- Monitor market pricing trends
- Create and update purchase orders
- Ensure purchasing compliance with company policies
- Resolve supplier invoice and payment issues
- Communicate with vendors regarding products and orders
- Maintain accurate pricing records
- Support inventory and supply chain operations
Purchasing Agent Qualifications:
- 2+ years purchasing or materials experience required
- Manufactured housing experience a plus
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
