Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
98,738.00 / annually Third Shift ( Sunday throughSunday from 05:30pm to06:30am )
- Manufactures food products in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while promoting a safe work environment and coaching peers on safety practices.
- Operates, maintains, cleans, and performs changeovers on production equipment while following and improving GMP standards.
- Conducts preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems using technical tools and documentation.
- Supports continuous improvement by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, leading projects, and maintaining accurate maintenance and performance records.
- Trains and coaches team members, develops documentation (SOPs, job aids), participates in technical development, and collaborates effectively across shifts and teams.
Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or technical degree or training preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with electrical systems, PLC, motor and motion controls, SCADA systems, device and information networks, sensors, instrumentation equipment for manufacturing is required.
- Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
- The employee must be able to work 13-hour day shifts (5:30pm-6:30am)?
- Must be able to squat or kneel and to bend on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to flour and yeast, oils, and peanut butter as well as other materials.?
- Must be able to lift + 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Must pass an occupational physical test.?
- Minimum of 20/40 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses
- Must pass a standard eye exam.?
