Project Estimator - Civil Construction Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope, requirements, and bidding strategy.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
• Analyze construction methods, equipment needs, labor requirements, and material quantities.
• Develop preliminary project schedules and sequencing plans.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and industry partners.
• Review subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope completeness, pricing accuracy, and contractual considerations.
• Conduct site visits and evaluate existing conditions when necessary to support estimate development.
• Assist with identifying borrow pits, waste areas, dump sites, haul routes, and other project-specific logistical requirements.
• Collaborate with management to evaluate project risks and develop pricing and profit strategies.
• Maintain accurate estimate documentation, pricing databases, and bid records.
• Support Design-Build pursuits by assisting with means and methods planning, equipment selection, and conceptual estimating.
• Assist with DBE, MBE, and WBE participation requirements and documentation.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
