Mechanical Designer HVAC Manufacturing
We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to develop precise 2D and 3D models and technical drawings for components used in heat?transfer and HVAC cooling equipment. This position works closely with engineering, production teams, and external partners to ensure all designs meet required performance standards and can be manufactured efficiently and reliably.

Mechanical Designer HVAC Manufacturing Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
36.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Design & Drafting — Produce 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, BOMs, and assembly documentation. Apply GD&T and update designs as needed.
- Cross?Team Collaboration — Partner with engineering, production, quality, and suppliers to ensure cost?effective, manufacturable designs. Support prototypes, testing, and design reviews.
- Standards & Improvement — Maintain CAD libraries, follow design standards, manage PDM data, and recommend improvements to materials, processes, and methods.
Mechanical Designer HVAC Manufacturing Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- 2–5 years in mechanical design; HVAC, heat exchanger, or industrial equipment experience preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (AutoCAD/Creo acceptable)
- Strong mechanical design and fabrication knowledge
- Familiarity with aluminum, copper, and steel materials
- Detail?oriented with strong documentation accuracy
- Experience with PDM/PLM systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast?paced environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
