Elwood Staffing is hiring a QA Assistant in Pittsburg, TX! Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, some OT and Saturdays

QA Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:00pm )
- Some weekends as needed
- Perform routine product sampling and quality testing during processing and packaging
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Operate laboratory and testing equipment such as moisture analyzers, thermometers, scales, and other QA instruments
- Collect and test raw ingredient and finished product samples
- Document test results and enter data into quality tracking systems
- Verify metal detectors, magnets, and other quality checkpoints
- Place products on quality hold when required and complete documentation
- Communicate quality issues and test results to operators and supervisors
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP guidelines, and food safety regulations
- Assist with sanitation inspections and product changeover checks
- Other duties as assigned
QA Assistant Qualifications:
- Previous Quality experience required
- Steel toes required
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
