Paving Estimator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 95,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Prepare detailed project estimates using takeoffs, cost history, supplier pricing, and field input.
- Build project budgets and communicate bid details to management and field personnel.
- Coordinate estimating work for DOT, Federal Highway, municipality, city, and state projects.
- Independently estimate large projects ranging from $1M to $25M, with team leadership on larger bids.
- Review design options and recommend cost-effective solutions based on materials, engineering quality, and availability.
Paving Estimator Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical training and/or related experience. 3–7 years of construction, estimating, and construction management experience.
- Experience with DOT, Federal Highway, city, state, or municipality projects.
- Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff software, spreadsheets, B2W, CADD files, blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
