Elwood Staffing is hiring for a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician in the Lancaster area.

FSQA Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
26.50 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 10:00pm to06:00am )
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process at scheduled intervals
- Document product tests and report results to the FQSA Supervisor
- Ensure all GMPs are being followed throughout the facility
- Complete HACCP checks and maintain records of HACCP and non-conforming materials
- Operate testing equipment including thermometers, refractometers, sodium and salt meters and PH readers.
- Collect environmental and product samples
- other duties as assigned
FSQA Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food processing and a laboratory environment
- Certifications in HACCP, SQF, and PCQI
- Aseptic processing experience
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance department, preferable in Food Quality
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
