Bilingual Legal Assistant Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing courteous and professional communication in both English and Spanish.
- Assist attorneys with legal administrative tasks including document review, drafting legal correspondence, and proofreading.
- Manage case files, ensuring accurate data entry and document organization.
- Prepare and organize legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and reports with precision.
- Coordinate appointments, and consultations while managing calendar schedules for attorneys.
- Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines and maintaining detailed records of case progress. Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, phone etiquette management, transcription services, and document management system upkeep.
Bilingual Legal Assistant Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Familiarity with the following various legal practice areas is a plus: estate planning, estate administration, family law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and criminal law.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple files or projects simultaneously.
- Excellent administrative skills including data entry accuracy, filing procedures (both physical and electronic), phone etiquette mastery, and clerical experience.
