Mechanic (Industrial Equipment)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Temporary Mechanic to join our team for a 6-month assignment. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, lubricating, and maintaining mechanical equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the site. You will play a vital part in upholding the highest standards, including compliance with Performance Standards, as well as relevant acts and regulations. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Mechanic (Industrial Equipment) Details:
Temporary position- $
47.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday )
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and lubrication on a variety of mechanical equipment and facility components
- Proactively engage in preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) efforts to minimize downtime, enhance equipment reliability, and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with experienced mechanics and maintenance team members to troubleshoot complex issues, conduct performance testing, and validate equipment functionality
- Accurately interpret and apply information from blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise repairs and maintenance tasks

Mechanic (Industrial Equipment) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of various maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
- A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable performing visual inspections and detailed repair work
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
