Metal Buyer/Recycler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
13.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Tuesday throughSaturday from 07:15am to04:15pm )
- Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers/public.
- Follow all safety requirements, including wearing PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety vest, and steel-toe boots).
- Perform general labor tasks, including lifting materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Assist with sorting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Operate a sit-down forklift (training provided if needed).
- Train to operate heavy equipment, including an industrial grapple crane, after gaining experience.
Metal Buyer/Recycler Qualifications:
- Must have own steel-toe boots.
- Ability to perform general labor and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc...).
- Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Forklift (sit-down) experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on heavy equipment.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
