Description
1st Shift Material Handler
We are seeking a reliable sit down forklift driver to support daily warehouse operations. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods. You’ll play a key part in receiving, staging, shipping, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. This position primarily supports Shipping and Receiving but may also assist other departments, including Production, as needed.

1st Shift Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:30pm )
- Receive incoming materials and verify against purchase orders Inspect materials for quality and report any issues
- Stage and prepare finished goods for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using sit down forklift, pallet jacks, or by hand
- Inspect trailers before loading and secure shipments properly
- Transport and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Complete shipping/receiving paperwork accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Monitor inventory and report discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns
- Assist Production or other departments as needed
1st Shift Material Handler Qualifications:
- Sit Down Forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous shipping and receiving experience
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
