Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Temporary Front Desk Clerk in the North Vernon Area. 

Company Profile

Manufacturer of assembled chipboard & corrugated box partitions, also known as box dividers. Additional products produced are build up blocks, corrugated pallets, & assembled packaging.

Front Desk Clerk Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $18.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)
  • Warmly greet and assist visitors, clients, & vendors, providing a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently answer, screen, & direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages as needed.
  • Manage the receipt & distribution of incoming mail and packages & prepare outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, & professional appearance of the front desk and reception area.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, & document preparation.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, & conference room bookings.
  • Assist various departments with clerical duties & special projects as required.
  • Monitor & maintain visitor logs, ensuring strict adherence to established security procedures.

Front Desk Clerk Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar front office role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational & time management abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a customer service representative position. 
  • Experience with alphanumeric data entry. 
  • Updated Resume & Interview required
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
