We are seeking a reliable and self motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong maintenance or industrial background. This role requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot equipment issues, and handle a variety of mechanical and general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
A qualified maintenance technician should have knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and repair procedures. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, use hand and power tools safely, and complete preventative maintenance tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are important. Applicants should also be able to lift heavy materials, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Previous maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications are often preferred.
