Maintenance Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Thursday throughMonday from 07:00pm to07:00am )
- Traning Schedule: (2 Months) Monday-Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM with Thursday (as needed): Typically ends by 9:00 PM
- Starting in July (24/7 Operations): Friday-Monday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on production equipment
- Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment efficiency
- Maintain and service equipment including pumps, fans, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems
- Monitor equipment performance and identify abnormal operation
- Complete general facility maintenance (boilers, hot water systems, air compressors)
- Accurately document maintenance activities, service logs, and repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Maintenance Tech Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude (turning wrenches, disassembling/reassembling equipment, greasing motors, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards in a food production environment (LOTO, PPE, GMPs, OSHA)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong awareness of when to escalate issues to leadership
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
