Cook Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSunday )
- Execute daily meal preparation and cooking duties for senior residents according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and to the highest quality standards, considering specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the commercial kitchen.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP principles.
- Assist with inventory management, including proper storage, rotation, and labeling of food items.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
Cook Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in a full-service cooking position.
- Proven ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Strong understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a valued team member.
- Flexibility to accommodate rotating weekend shifts as required by operational needs.
