Experienced Irrigation Specialist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:00am to01:30pm )
- Maintain and care for all assigned equipment and tools, including carts, radios, rain gear, hand tools, and safety equipment.
- Lock the irrigation shed at the end of each shift.
- Follow supervisor instructions promptly. Adhere to all safety procedures and operate equipment safely.
- Support teamwork and assist crew members as needed. Recommend improvements to production, equipment performance, product quality, and work efficiency.
- Work hours vary based on operational needs; overtime and weekends may be required.
Experienced Irrigation Specialist Qualifications:
- Manages water use through wells and reclaimed water systems in compliance with local regulations.
- Repairs, maintains, and troubleshoots irrigation systems, including pumps, valves, lines, and sprinkler heads.
- Responds to resident irrigation and landscaping requests.
- Coordinates watering schedules with Night Operations staff.
- Monitors and adjusts irrigation for proper coverage and healthy plant growth.
- Maintains irrigation supply inventory for timely repairs.
- Waters maintenance yard plants and grass plugs as needed.
- Assists with grounds maintenance and special projects as assigned.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
