Holographic Lab Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Primary Responsibilities
• Master Preparation: Clean and prepare glass holographic masters—the original templates used to create production plates—to ensure they are ready for processing.
• Silvering Process: Apply a thin metal coating to masters using a guided chemical process.
• Plating Support: Help monitor and maintain nickel plating tanks, including checking temperature, solution levels, and basic equipment operation.
• Shim Processing: Separate metal plates (shims) from masters and trim/finish them so they are ready for use in production.
• Work Area & Safety: Keep the lab clean and organized, maintain equipment, and follow all safety procedures for handling chemicals and materials.
Holographic Lab Technician Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Entry-level candidates welcome; however, some experience in a manufacturing, printing, or technical environment is strongly preferred • Ability to follow detailed instructions and stay focused on quality
• Basic math skills
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Physical Requirements
• Ability to perform close-up inspections of microscopic patterns and identify minute surface defects under specialized lighting.
• Good manual dexterity for handling fragile materials and small tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods, reach over tanks, and occasionally lift/move materials or nickel anodes weighing up to 40 lbs.
