You’ll partner across operations, logistics, and quality teams to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and keep the supply chain running smoothly—all while leading and developing a strong procurement team. Purchasing Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
  • Lead global and domestic sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to drive cost savings and value.
  • Partner with operations, logistics, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery, maintain optimal inventory levels, and meet production demands.
  • Monitor market trends, forecast demand, and proactively adjust procurement plans to minimize supply risk and avoid stockouts.
  • Manage and develop a procurement team, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and identify supply chain risks, implementing strategies to maintain continuity and performance.

Purchasing Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, with 7+ years of domestic and international procurement experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of global sourcing, supply chain management, and international trade regulations, with proven negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), along with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to develop teams, drive results, and work both independently and cross-functionally across the organization
