Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
27.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Thursday throughMonday from 10:00pm to06:30am )
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Works with supervisor to determine the root cause of issues and appropriate corrections.
- Troubleshoots conveyor system controls and adjusts/calibrates or repairs as needed; performs reactive repairs to maintain operation of conveyors and production equipment
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field with intermediate to advance working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor systems in a fast-paced production environment.
- Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of PLC's and sortation controls
- Ability to follow blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently or in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills
- Possess a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to be on call, work days or nights, weekends and overtime if required
- Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and email skills.
