Bo-Witt - Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Be responsible for operating various presses and secondary equipment ensuring efficient production and quality output
- Set up and perform diverse assembly operations
- Operate a range of secondary equipment, including disk and belt sanders, grinders, deflashing equipment, ovens, scrap busters, Teflon applicators, and bolt masters
- Conduct operation and setup of all hipot testers
- Perform basic screw machine operations
- Optimize production efficiency with available tools and resources
- Accurately process parts through the shop workflow
- Interpret process sheets and tooling sheet charts
- Read and accurately interpret engineering prints
- Monitor equipment and identify/react to abnormal operating conditions promptly
- Accurately report and process labor hours
- Prepare and pack finished parts for shipment
Bo-Witt - Press Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, process sheets, and tooling charts
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment
- Experience with assembly operations and quality control processes
- Attention to detail for accurate part processing and reporting
- Stand on concrete for 9 hours
- Lift 40 lbs. - Walk stairs; reach, stretch, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
- Withstand heat up to 100°
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
