Industrial Production Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 6:30 AM–6:30 PM or 6:30 PM–6:30 AM
- Schedule Rotation: 4 on/ 2 off
- Some weekends are required
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment including presses, spinner machines, CNC machinery, ovens, and automated production equipment
- Perform tooling setup, inspections, maintenance, and changeovers
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, production drawings, and quality standards
- Perform quality inspections using gauges, micrometers, hardness testers, Pi-tape methods, SPC charts, and other measuring devices
- Identify and remove defective or non-conforming materials/products
- Complete production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment
- Perform grinding, buffing, trimming, polishing, cutting, and finishing tasks
- Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and production support activities
- Monitor automated equipment and react quickly to production issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Industrial Production Operator Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, industrial, machining, or production experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
- Ability to read measuring devices and follow technical instructions
- Forklift and crane experience preferred
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to work in hot, dirty, and physically demanding conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials with assistance or equipment
- Ability to work around heat, noise, machinery, and industrial equipment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
