Press Brake Operator


The Press Brake Operator (2nd shift)  is responsible for setting up and operating Amada press brakes to form metal parts according to blueprint specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes to ensure all parts meet quality and tolerance standards.

Press Brake Operator Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $27.00 to $29.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • Second Shift (Monday through Saturday from 01:30pm to 10:00pm)
  • Set up and operate Amada press brakes using appropriate tooling to achieve required part configurations
  • Form parts to blueprint-specified dimensions and tolerances
  • Measure and inspect formed parts using precision tools to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to verify parts meet required standards Accurately scan and track all jobs in the E2 system for data collection
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist team members with larger or more complex parts as needed

Press Brake Operator Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating Amada press brakes
  • Ability to set up tooling and program machines
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience performing in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Proficiency with basic inspection tools (calipers, squares, protractors, measuring tape, etc.)
  • Knowledge of different materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and hot/cold rolled steel
  • Understanding of material gauges and thickness measurements
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to follow instructions and support various shop needs
  • Ability to work overtime as required to meet production schedules
