Wafer Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Prepare and categorize wafer lots for processing, including un-bagging, tagging, and staging
- Perform chemical cleaning and etch processes following strict safety and cleanroom protocols
- Inspect wafers for cleanliness, defects, and compliance with customer specifications
- Conduct metrology measurements during processing to verify quality standards
- Initiate quality events when products fall outside required specifications
- Accurately document process data in logs, travelers, and production software systems
- Package completed wafers for shipment using vacuum or heat-sealing methods
Wafer Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (STEM or technical background preferred, not required)
- Previous experience as a line cook would translate for timing and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal procedures
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic data entry
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Steady hands and manual dexterity for precision inspection and handling
- Willingness to work a weekend shift and adjust hours as needed for production
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing full PPE
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
