Shipping & Receiving Clerk
We are seeking a diligent and organized Temporary Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be the backbone of our logistics operation. This role is crucial for coordinating, documenting, and executing all tasks related to incoming and outgoing shipments. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards, managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy, quality, and damage
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips
- Sign for deliveries and promptly report any discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking items, packaging, labeling, and weighing
- Create and maintain accurate shipping documents and logs
- Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (proof of education will be requested)
- Proven experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk or similar role
- Previously certified forklift operator with demonstrated ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer literacy
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math aptitude for inventory and shipment calculations
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
