Swiss/ Turning Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:20am to04:50am )
- The Swiss Turning Operator is responsible for operating Swiss-style CNC turning machines to produce small, precision components.
- This role focuses on quality production, basic inspection, and adherence to established processes.
- Programming and full machine setup are not required.
- Operate Swiss-style turning machines in a production environment Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pin gages, and thread gages
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Perform or adjust basic offsets as required Deburr small, precision parts when necessary
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and housekeeping requirements
Swiss/ Turning Operator Qualifications:
- Experience operating turning equipment or CNC machinery
- Basic knowledge of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, pin and thread gages)
- Ability to read basic engineering prints
- Familiarity with offsets or an understanding of how they are applied
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail
- Dependable, teachable, and punctual
- Previous Swiss turning experience
- Experience in a high?precision or small?part manufacturing environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
