Manufacturing Grinding Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate one or more types of grinding and cutting equipment.
- Remove excess metal and surface imperfections from sand castings.
- Eliminate fins, burrs, parting lines, flashing, gates, and risers.
- Ensure finished parts meet customer specifications.
- Maintain required quality standards and consistency in production
Manufacturing Grinding Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience in grinding, metal finishing, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to operate grinding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of casting processes and metal removal techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work in a hot environment.
