Plant Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday )
- Preventative Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine service and emergency repairs on folders, inserters, printing presses, and other plant machinery
- Strategic Scheduling: Utilize “quiet hours” (5:00 AM – 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) to maintain equipment while production is offline
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues, research manuals/schematics, and implement effective repairs across various equipment types
- Inventory & Parts Management: Identify needed components, source vendors, and manage ordering to minimize downtime
- Facility Support: Assist with general plant maintenance to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Plant Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience in mechanical repair (industrial, automotive, or machinery).
- Print/mail equipment experience is a plus, but not required
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar equipment and find solutions independently
- Technical Resourcefulness: Comfortable using online resources to locate manuals, parts, and repair information
- Reliability & Ownership: You understand that production depends on equipment uptime—and you take that responsibility seriously
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
