Elwood Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machinist to join the team of a local manufacturing team.

Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Operate basic production machinery, including CNC machines
- Perform deburring tasks on manufactured parts to ensure smooth finishes and quality standards
- Execute light assembly work as required, adhering to specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the manufacturing facility
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Report directly to the manufacturing supervisor, following all directives and instructions
- Exercise limited decision-making authority and maintain limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
Machinist Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Demonstrated proficiency as a CNC Operator
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under close supervision
- Experience with CNC Programming
- Familiarity with CNC Set-up procedures
- Prior experience operating Boring Machines
- Experience operating Debur Machines
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
