Shop help/welder help Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist welders and fabricators with daily shop operations.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Grind, clean, and prep metal surfaces for welding and fabrication.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Measure and cut materials according to job specifications.
- Help maintain welding equipment and shop tools.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist with packaging and preparing completed products for shipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Shop help/welder help Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, construction, or shop experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards.Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic required.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and work extended hours as needed.
- Steel toe boots and proper PPE required.
- Welding or fabrication knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth.
