Sandblaster Shop Hand
We’re hiring a Sandblaster / Shop Hand to support daily operations in a busy machine shop environment. This role involves blasting, cleaning, material prep, and assisting mechanics with pump teardown work. The shop is non?climate?controlled, so candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures.

Sandblaster Shop Hand Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Sand Blasting — prep and clean parts using sandblast equipment
- Bead Blasting — surface finishing for metal components
- Painting — apply coatings as needed
- Cleaning & De?burring — remove sharp edges and prep parts for assembly
- Using Shop Tools — air grinders, electric grinders, cordless drills, hand taps, and similar tools
- Forklift Operation — strongly preferred
- Overhead Crane Operation — move heavy parts and equipment
- Assist Mechanics — support dismantling and cleaning of pumps and components
Sandblaster Shop Hand Qualifications:
- Experience with sandblasting is required
- Ability to safely use grinders, drills, and hand tools
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a non?climate?controlled environment
- Able to lift, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
