Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Dallas Details:
Direct Hire position- $
47.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS AREA.
- Install, terminate, and test electrical systems including power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and backup generators
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings specific to data center construction
- Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling for large-scale systems
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site to meet deadlines
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including inspections and test results
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Dallas Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state-specific)
- 3–5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Experience working on mission-critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, etc.) preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to medium voltage
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
