Machinist II Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 32.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Ability to setup, run and program various machines, power and hand tools and equipment to make the parts
- Prepare material to be used in machines
- Read and sometimes decipher company drawings
- Machining/Fabrication/Engineering of specialty parts required for ion sources
- Ability to program a machine to make parts to specifications
- Grit/Bead Blast parts as required
- Saw material as required
- Dish grids/ mill blanks heat and form
- De-burr and clean all parts
- Inspect parts with various tools
- Maintain all tooling related to the machine
- Forklift operation
- Material handling – unload truck
Machinist II Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, manual mills and lathes
- 3+ years experience setting up and operating machines
- Mechanical/technical ability with 3+ years of experience
- Knowledge of MasterCam software or similar product
- Knowledge of CNC machines and various hand tools
- Understanding Fadal machines is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
