ECU Kitting Specialist
We’re a fast growing micromobility startup looking for a hands on, detail oriented Kitting & ECU Provisioning Operator to support our engineering and prototype build efforts. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers and technicians to flash and provision ECUs, perform basic wiring tasks, and prepare hardware kits that go straight into vehicle builds, testing, and validation. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational mechanical or electrical skills who enjoys working with hardware, following technical documentation, and contributing to real products in a fast?paced prototype environment. ECU Kitting Specialist Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
30.00 to $ 40.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Flash, provision, and perform basic functional checks on ECUs, ensuring firmware accuracy and proper documentation
- Assemble and support basic electrical wiring tasks, including harness connections, wire routing, and continuity checks
- Prepare, kit, label, and stage hardware components to support prototype vehicle builds and testing
- Follow engineering documentation, wiring diagrams, and work instructions with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability
- Maintain organized, ESD compliant workspaces and collaborate closely with engineers and technicians in a fast paced prototype environment
ECU Kitting Specialist Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn ECU flashing tools, diagnostic software, and engineering workflows in a fast paced prototype environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document work and perform basic computer data entry
- Comfortable working with low voltage systems, connectors, and following wiring diagrams or work instructions
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical assembly, hand tools, and basic electrical components or wiring
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical or hands on coursework preferred
