CNC Production Supervisor Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $26.00 to $33.00 /hour
  • First Shift

Responsible for leading production operations while directly supporting CNC programming, setup, and machining execution. This role ensures that production meets expectations for Quality, Efficiency, and Delivery by effectively utilizing people, equipment, and processes. The CNC Production Supervisor provides cross-shift leadership, drives continuous improvement, maintains equipment readiness, and develops team capability in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Operators
  • Collaborate on scheduling and urgent jobs
  • Troubleshoot machining and operational issues
  • Interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Program CNC mills and lathes and perform machine setups including tooling and fixtures
  • Complete Layered Process Audits
  • Maintain documentation (DOAR, setup sheets, tool cards)
  • Ensure inventory and organization
  • Train and coach operators, support cross-training, and oversee onboarding and certification
  • Ensure accurate documentation of attendance and incidents
  • Audit production reporting systems

CNC Production Supervisor Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Read and interpret documents
  • Communicate clearly and effectively; verbal, radio, email, written, diagram and schedule format
  • Exhibit strong, customer service, organizational, interpersonal, time management, employee development, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining skills
  • Utilization of; production matrix and Dashboard
  • Possess mathematical skills and aptitude; add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, proportions and percentages
  • Report to work in accordance to the expectations of the company attendance policy including reporting to your assigned workstation “work ready” and work up to the end of shift.
