Maintenance Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.50 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and follow maintenance schedules
- Read basic schematics, manuals, or blueprints as needed
- Communicate with production to resolve equipment issues quickly
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills required
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
- Maintenance or industrial experience required
Maintenance Tech Qualifications:
- Stable work history; dependable, safety-focused, and knowledgeable of OSHA/workplace safety standards
- Able to lift, stand, and work in a production environment; flexible to work overtime/weekends as needed
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, wiring)
- Familiar with PLC troubleshooting, automated equipment, and preventative maintenance programs
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment; welding/fabrication and forklift experience a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, sense of urgency, and ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
