Quality Lead Supervisor Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $44.00 /hour
• Second Shift

• Train operators on quality systems and / or standards as necessary
• Assist production gaps with quality issues, concerns, methods, standards & related training.
• Evaluate/Validate Check-Do-Check and final inspection performed by operators, such as visual inspections (poke yoke – red rabbit), functional tests, SPC checks, etc.
• Monitor & assure proper documentation of FAST & Kata QRCI.
• Validate quality checks / tests / measurements as required by the OK 1st piece sheet
• Perform regular 8 Quality Basics (8QB) assessments on the production line and report results to the Quality Engineers
• Follow up on Quality Alerts and Customer Concerns to assist Quality Engineering as required.
• Communicate to operators internal and external quality issues affecting customer satisfaction. He / She monitors and assures proper documentation and implementation of containment and corrective actions
• Support other quality-related functions including incoming inspection (SQA), quality system (QSE), Safety & Regulatory (S&R) and program quality (PQL)
• Support internal and external quality audits as needed.
• Support Stop a Defect action by auditing tally sheets & Red Scrap Bins on a regular occurrence per shift. Inform Gap Leader when reaction rules are not being respected.
• Perform daily TQW audit when Temporary Quality Walls are in place.
• Request to correct a process in case a quality requirement is not met (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, customer requirements, S&R, QSE, etc.). Correction must be requested immediately to GAP Leader / Supervisor upon observance of S&R non-compliance
• Escalate issues to GAP Leader / Supervisor and Quality Engineer as necessary. Escalation must be reported immediately to Quality Engineer upon observance of S&R non-compliance
