Warehouse Associate I Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.
- Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and shipped.
- Ensure the warehouse remains accessible, organized, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Take check calls from drivers to confirm delivery timelines.
- Validate load data prior to marking deliveries complete for accurate accounting.
- Monitor daily pickups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Warehouse Associate I Qualifications:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally. Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Forklift experience (sit-down preferred).
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
