Press Operator Details:
Temporary position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Operate and monitor cotton presses to form uniform, high-quality bales.
- Secure bales with wire or straps and ensure proper labeling.
- Inspect cotton for quality, moisture, and contamination before baling.
- Perform routine machinery maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain production records and collaborate with gin staff for smooth workflow.
Press Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial presses is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
