Injection & Extrusion Technician
Elwood Staffing is seeking an experienced Injection & Extrusion Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring safe, efficient production and high?quality output. This role is hands?on and technical, ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience in plastics manufacturing.

Injection & Extrusion Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
Operate, monitor, and maintain plastic injection molding and extrusion equipment
Troubleshoot and support auxiliary equipment including: Robots, molds, dies Feeders, dryers, compounders Hydraulic and cooling systems Perform in?process quality checks and ensure product meets specifications
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, technical, and process?related issues
Complete preventative and unplanned maintenance on machinery
Operate other automated equipment such as: Cranes, conveyors, forklifts, and packaging systems
Injection & Extrusion Technician Qualifications:
Formal technical training or equivalent hands?on experience in injection molding/extrusion
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience working with plastics manufacturing equipment preferred
Basic computer skills to operate automated systems
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English
Team?oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and climb as required in a manufacturing environment
