Industrial Maintenance Technician Helper Details:
Temporary position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation of all machinery and vehicles while minimizing downtime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, brake, and fuel systems; replace worn or damaged parts and repair leaks.
- Maintain equipment-specific systems, including forklifts, balers, conveyors, and densifiers, performing structural, mechanical, and welding repairs as needed.
- Ensure all safety guards, lockout procedures, and equipment safety features are fully functional before returning equipment to service.
- Manage parts inventory, maintain service logs, order replacement parts with approval, and keep management informed of wear issues or potential breakdowns.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Helper Qualifications:
- Proven mechanical maintenance experience with industrial equipment, vehicles, and machinery (forklifts, balers, conveyors, densifiers, loaders, processing lines).
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, fuel, brake, and engine systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs.
- Solid understanding of equipment safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and manage parts inventory; effective communication with management and vendors.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
