Full- time Mechanical Designer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
35.00 to $ 38.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed design specifications, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and production-ready designs.
- Review and revise designs to improve functionality and resolve production issues.
- Maintain organized design documentation and support standardization efforts.
Full- time Mechanical Designer Qualifications:
Associate degree in drafting, CAD, mechanical design, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer/Drafter.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (recent hands-on experience required).
- EPDM experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards and mechanical design principles.
- Experience in API 6A/16A (oil & gas) and manufacturing processes preferred, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
