Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to03:00pm )
•The Material Handler Level-I moves and store materials, records inventory, and performs quality checks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. -Responsibilities include ensuring material storage is in the proper location, maintaining accurate inventory records and inspecting incoming materials for damage. This position is responsible for ensuring that materials are available when needed and at the required quality level as well as being in compliance with all employee safety, food safety, facility audits, and GMP requirements at all times. •Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.•Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials into and out of racking, onto and off trucks and loading docks.
Material Handler Qualifications:
Must have recent experience operating machinery, specifically stand-up fork lift.•Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator reports.•Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials in correct locations, recording location of inventory, and reporting any discrepancies.•Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery inspected and clean.•Other duties as assigned. Follows all food safety guidelines and protocols.•Model the Company's Safety Culture and always strive for 100% Safety compliance.•Excellent communication skills, and respectful of others •Organized, detail orientated, and a can-do, hands-on work ethic•Self-motivated, results orientated, and excellent personal skills •Basic knowledge of inventory control•Basic data entry and computer skills
